GETTING READY TO LEARN

Today,I am going to talk about the different lifestyle as a high school student and a college student.
From what I learnt and experienced as interim students 2019/2020,I found out variety differences when making transition from school to university.
SCHOOL
COLLEGE
vNeed to wear attire according to school law
vWear anything you want as long as it is proper
vHave plenty of time to play around
vLimited time to play around
vGet enough sleep all the time
vMaybe you can only get enough sleep on the weekend
vHave a lot of friends
vHave a few friends only or maybe alone??(please do not, make one at least)

Other than that,as a college student, you need to be independent as lecturer will not hand you out printed notes. If you are lucky, lecturer will give it you but this situation is rarely to be happen in college.Sometimes, lecturer will encourage you to bring laptop to copy the notes from the slide but do not be surprised if you are required to bring pen and paper only in most classes.

Next,we are going to learn what kind of learning styles are you!
You have to do the activity below to determine whether you are audio, visual or kinesthetic.
Before that, let me tell you the meaning of audio, visual and kinesthetic.
  • AUDIO usually speak to themself to memorize. They will speak out aloud and they prefer to hear somebody else explained about it or heard it from recorder rather than writing it out.
  • VISUAL have two sub-channel called linguistic and spatial. They love to write it down and make a chart to remember it.Their visualize is strong which is one of their weapon to remember something in their mind. They will imagine faces or places.
  • KINESTHETIC also have two sub-channel which are kinesthetic (movement) and tactile (touch). In classes, they prefer to write it down for the sake to make a movement because they will lose concentration if there is no external movement. Also, they love to use highlighter when making a note and drawing diagrams, pictures or doodling.
